Masca Valley & Los Gigantes

A full day through the dramatic Teno mountains to the village of Masca, then down to the towering sea cliffs of Los Gigantes. This is the island's single most famous ride, and the one every rider asks for by name. The road into Masca is one of the most spectacular in the Canary Islands: hairpin after hairpin cut into sheer rock, with the village itself perched impossibly on a ridge above a deep gorge. From there it's a dramatic descent to the coast for lunch with a view that genuinely stops conversation. The cliffs at Los Gigantes rise straight out of the Atlantic to as much as 600 metres in places, among the tallest sea cliffs anywhere in Europe.

The Route

1. Morning meet at Costa Adeje for a safety briefing and gear fitting
2. Ride into the Teno Rural Park through winding mountain roads
3. Arrive at Masca village, with around 40 minutes to explore and take photos over the valley
4. Descend towards the coast to Los Gigantes
5. Sit-down lunch at a restaurant overlooking the cliffs (included)
6. Afternoon coastal ride back to Costa Adeje
